Add Totem once to the AI tool that works on your game.

1. Copy the server config

This block is byte-identical to the landing page:

2. Add the API key as a secret header

Create a key in the Totem dashboard. In your client’s MCP server settings, add this header to the totem connection:

Authorization: Bearer ttm_<your-key>

Do not put the key in CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, your game archive, or Git.

Store the Totem API key in the connection's secure header setting.

3. Verify the connection

A working Totem connection exposes exactly these five tools:

create_game
request_upload
list_games
publish
get_analytics

It also exposes totem://limits, totem://allowed-extensions, and totem://build-guide. If the tool list is empty, check the URL and Authorization header first.
